And where are the lilacs

And Where’s the Lilac uses two contrasting piano passages. The music begins gently, shifts abruptly into a more urgent and intense rhythm, and gradually returns to calm. This musical transition reflects the fluctuations of inner emotion. Through movement, the choreography explores the extension of the human body and the physical expression of emotional energy.

In the costume design, floral elements are incorporated to echo the image of the lilac. The organic lines and growth-like forms are intended to visually support the dancers’ movement, enhancing the audience’s perception of energy, flow, and the strength extending through the body.
